In late 2018 I was sent a message from Jay Roeder asking my interest in contributing some of my art to his latest book, "Lettering Alphabets & Artwork: Inspiring Ideas & Techniques for 60 Hand-Lettering Styles". This new book by Jay Roeder is described on amazon as "Get inspired by 60 hand-lettered alphabets and the artists who draw them! This beautiful follow-up to 100 Days of Lettering helps you master the techniques so you can use them in your own designs. Each section includes a beautiful gallery showcasing work by the author and other artists." The author had several of my pieces he would like to include, which I was happy to provide to him.
Outside my bias of getting the awesome chance to include FIVE illustrations in this book, I just think this book is a great thing to have for an artist. The way he breaks down the various hand-lettered alphabets can really simplify how to make very unique typography. It's so easy to take his lessons and apply them brand new art.
